Took my 20 month old niece Sammy swimming this morning, then it was off for my daily 5 mile walk. Now I'm off to the Trail's Edge Camp Bowl-A-Thon. It was a busy day.. But that's okay. I love busy Saturdays.
I did a 30 km bike ride today. It was hot but at least there was a breeze.
Dragged my neighbour Jane out for a walk around Lake of Dreams in the 30C heat and did 3.5 km.....don't forget I'm kinda old now!.....just starting back into walking....we did 6km two weeks ago when it was cooler.
Had a great riding lesson today, my horse and I worked very hard in the heat at 10am
We have three children so the biggest challenge is getting them up, fed and dressed and out the door. I think the one thing that helps us get ready for an active day is putting on a good pair of walking shoes. Today, I will be going to the gym and then taking the little ones to the park. Kettlebell tonight, maybe.
Going to SkyTrek Adventure Park in Revelstoke, BC. Kind of like a jungle gym for adults. Activities will include rock climbing, zip line, monkey bars, etc. Should be great exercise!
Went for a nice run this morning - great way to start the busy day (that started with my girls pouncing on me at 6 AM). Now heading down to the Twin Cities for some adventures!
I've been forgetting to comment the last couple of days, but I haven't forgotten to stay active! Yoga, biking, and today, a 3 mile run. Now a full day of celebration--Dave's 33! :)
