Those cookies look AMAZING. I

Those cookies look AMAZING. I think they may have to be a project for next weekend.Today's workout was just Qigong and some walking, but I wanted to mention something, since Marta was talking about progress and stuff. One of the Qigong exercises involves bending down, reaching to the floor, then standing back up and bending backwards, holding for several breaths. Usually, when I do the back bends, I would start shaking immediately, because my core couldn't handle it, and I'd have to lean forward a bit to keep from vibrating.I started doing Brock's ab exercises, and after about a week, I can now do those back bends quite far without shaking at all! It's so great, so thanks again for the inspiration!

I ran 5 km on the treadmill

I ran 5 km on the treadmill and followed along on the stretch strap video. Loved it. The straps are amazing!!! Thanks again Marc.

Today was an "active rest"

Today was an "active rest" day - did the Lebert Stretch Strap video (very enjoyable and I look forward to adding the moves into my regular stretching routine). Also did several dozen baby press-ups (Erik is about 20 lbs now!)I've found that over this month, being part of the challenge has made me more aware of adding fitness to every day (also being a little accountable to you makes a difference too!) I've noticed a bit of a change in my body too - I'm able to fit into a pair of shorts that didn't fit earlier this summer, so thank you for the extra motivation to get rid of the baby weight!!!!Those cookies look delicious & I loved the extra "monkey' footage!! Have fun on your mini- holiday, We're going away for a few days to my inlaws - I promise to stay active, but I always stay unplugged too, so I'll post when I come home!! :)
